AGGIE HIGHWAY

DIFFICULTY: EASY (BUT WITH MANY OPTIONAL 'MEDIUM' TO 'HARD' OBSTACLES)

This trail is for beginners, inexperienced, or anyone who wants to test out their rig on the various leveled obstacles

Stock 4wd vehicles can make this trail with minimal difficulty, it depends on what level of difficulty you want to make these climbs. The terrain consists of continuous granite domes with different ledges and crevices to explore where they join; the route being do-able by all 4WD vehicles with or without help.

The granite continues with an up and down effect leading you to only more crevices and ledges. Eventually you reach a stopping point to view a creviced valley just waiting to be challenged.

Aggie Highway continues to become more technical as groups explore the area. This trail is not to be taken lightly. The "Cinnamon Twist" obstacle requires lockers and possibly a winch. "People's Hill" is another difficult obstacle on the trail.

At this point the trail leads you down a very steep decline which turns at the bottom and has a deep hole to the passenger side. This area should be attempted with caution when raining. Some vehicles without lifts may find the need for help through this area.

After the turn there are a few twists and turns. When it rains, small crevices fill with rain water and cause tires not to grip the granite. You will eventually end on a trail that could lead you the Cotton Bales area or the Back Breaker area. Simple as a left or right..
