BACK BREAKER
| DIFFICULTY: HARD TO EXTREME |
| |
 |
| |
Your experience should include: steep hill-climbing, traversing ledges and steps, driving through creviced terrain, straddling deep cracks, and be aware of the slickness in case of rain.
The Back Breaker area is among the more rugged parts of the property. Once you enter the Back Breaker area, you will find nothing but creviced terrain.
If you decide to tackle some of the obstacles, be prepared for any type of recovery and having experience with ledge hanging is advisable. Lockers are required to attempt the Back Breaker area obstacles.
Throughout the area you will find numerous inclines to crawl and some will be impassable. These particular granite domes have a variety of challenges on the extreme rock crawling level and can possibly push your rig to the limit or earn you a star.
Back Breaker area has all the makings for spectacular rock crawling photos. Remember to bring the camera and pack a lunch. This trail is usually started in the morning and can run into the late afternoon, depending on the carnage and size of groups, and if you stick around for photos.
